Code Fellows is a Seattle-based coding bootcamp whose goal is to educate and guide people from all backgrounds. As mentioned above, Code Fellows offers a variety of programs for coders of all levels. Programs range from one day workshops to full-time 10-week courses. While every day at Code Fellows is a bit different, full-time learners can expect a schedule similar to the following. Monday through Friday, students spend half the day attending lectures and coding workshops. The other half of the day is spent getting one on one instruction from TAs and instructors as you work on portfolio projects and hone your development skills. Four Fridays throughout the course are dedicated to project presentation and career development classes.
Code Fellows places a high priority on job placement for students. From Code 201 to Code 401, students will have access to in class career coaching. Code Fellows’ career services include mock interviews, resume and portfolio reviews, one on one career coaching, and access to internships and hiring connections. Code Fellows currently boasts a 95% hire rate for students within 6 months post graduation. Code Fellows alumni work at prominent companies such as Facebook, Google, Nike, Xbox, Disney, Zillow, Starbucks, Amazon, Target, Microsoft, and many more.
Tuition for Code Fellows’ programs varies by difficulty level. Costs range from $299 to $12,000 depending on your preferred part time or full-time classes. Code Fellows offers early bird pricing specials for select classes. They’ve also partnered with both Skillsfund and Climb lenders to offer the best possible financing and interest rates for their students. Code Fellows also offers a Diversity Scholarship that covers up to 70 percent of tuition. Applicants of the scholarship must be women, U.S. military veterans, and underrepresented populations of the technology industry. Code Fellows is also a proud acceptor of the GI Bill and and the Washington State Worker Retraining Program.
