Curriculum varies based on your desired program. For full time courses, both online and in person, you’ll learn a variety of full stack coding languages. You’ll spend time working on back end programming before switching to front end coding languages. Coding Dojo focuses on 3 stack curriculum that includes backend, front end, and data storage classes. Part Time curriculum focuses on the same aspects.
While schedules vary greatly per program, they all follow relatively the same model of learning. Weeks 1-2 ,you’ll focus on coding fundamentals. Weeks 3-6, you’ll focus on a certain realm of coding and work with a number of coding languages. Weeks 7-10, you’ll continue your learning through different coding languages and ideals. Weeks 11-14, you’ll switch your coding languages and curriculum one last time. Weeks 15-16, you’ll focus on career services and portfolio prep. Part time courses will vary on timing and focus more on projects and portfolio building.
Coding Dojo places a high priority on post graduation employment. Coding Dojo is a proud supporter and collaborator with Seattle’s almost 4,000 tech start ups. Coding Dojo offers both on campus and online full time coding courses. The full time campus course costs $13,500 while online full time costs $15,000. Coding Dojo also offers part time online courses that are currently discounted at $8,000 (which is $2,000 off the usual rate). In addition to its traditional programs, Coding Dojo offers an intro to Data Science course which costs $2,800. Coding Dojo offers two different options for payment. Payment plan A requires a $1,000 deposit with the first half of tuition being due the first friday of class. The second half of tuition is then paid during week 8 of your bootcamp. Payment plan B is provided through lender Skillsfund and requires a $1,000 deposit with payments being as low as $247 a month. Skillsfund offers financing from 36 to 60 months.
