The two bootcamps offered at the Seattle campus last anywhere from 12 to 13 weeks. While specific time frames differ based on your desired program and your own personal coding experiences, students at Galvanize Seattle can expect to follow a similar schedule. Students will participate in 4 to 6 weeks of coding preparation before their coding challenge and Galvanize technical interview. Upon passing the interview, students will then participate in another 4-6 weeks of online pre course assignments. After this training is complete, students will be invited on campus to complete their 12 to 13 week immersive bootcamp.
Galvanize boasts a broad hiring network with alumni going on to work at some of the worlds most notable companies. Galvanize graduates have worked at Apple, Microsoft, Spotify, Accenture, Tesla, Facebook, NASA, Google, Amazon, PayPal, Adobe, Twitch, and Uber.
There are currently two different bootcamps offered at Galvanize Seattle, both of these programs have a total cost of $17,980. Galvanize offers several different methods of payment in the hopes of accommodating everyone and ensuring that anyone who wishes to attend their bootcamp has the option to do so. Galvanize’s most popular financial program is their in house Income Share Agreements. Within the ISA program, you’ll pay a $2,000 deposit upfront, you’ll then agree to pay back 10% of your future income with monthly installments over 48 months. Repayment is contingent on the student obtaining a job with an annual salary of at least $50,000. For those interested in traditional financing, Galvanize has partnered with both Skillsfund and Climb to offer competitive interest rate financing. Galvanize’s partner lenders also offer loans to help cover the cost of living during your bootcamp experience. Galvanize offers two different scholarships to help students pay for their education. These include the original Galvanize Scholarship (which is available to most applications) and the Veterans Scholarship (which is available to veterans or active members of the Reserves or National Guard who demonstrate financial need). Galvanize is also a proud acceptor of G.I. Bill benefits.
