The 12 week full time software engineering program offers 11 weeks of in person immersive education plus one solo week. In addition to the original 12 weeks, you’ll also have one week of career services. While everyday at Hack Reactor Seattle is different, a typical day in the life of a student may have a similar feel. From 9am-10am, you’ll kick off the day with morning announcements and work on personally crafted Toy Problems. From 10am to 12:30pm, depending on the day, you’ll be working on hacking and pair programming. From 12:30pm to 1:30pm, you’ll take a lunch break followed by an hour of exercise or break time. From 2:30pm to 5:30pm, you’ll learn new concepts and continue to work on projects. From 5:30pm to 6:30pm, you’ll enjoy dinner. 6:30pm to 7pm, you’ll gather with your class for an evening lecture. From 7pm to 8pm, you’ll work with your partner on the assignment for the 2 day coding sprint.

Hack Reactor offers a comprehensive Career Services department that helps you obtain a career in three different ways. The first is online presence. By the time you graduate, Career Services will ensure that you have a stunning online GitHub and personal portfolio. The second is one on one coaching. Career Services aims to focus on your own personal goals as well as helping you evaluate your job offer(s). Lastly, Career services will help you practice your interviews, enhance your resume, and ensure that you are completely career ready.
The total cost of on campus tuition at Hack Reactor is $17,980. Several financing options are also available. Around half of all Hack Reactor students receive some form of financing from Hack Reactor’s financial partners Skills Fund and Climb. Students are eligible to pay as little as $2,000 down and pay the remainder of their tuition over 60 months. Students can also receive up to $7,500 dedicated to living expenses. Hack Reactor also offers Income Share Agreements through Galvanize. Through the ISA, you’ll pay a $2,000 deposit upfront, and upon graduating, you’ll pay back 10% of your income over 48 months provided that you are making over $50,000 per year. Repayment is capped at 1.75x tuition.
